As Cherie looked around at all the dead laying on the ground,she called out in fear: "Basil!? Basil,are you here!? It's OK to come out! Basil,oh please!"
She continued to scan the area for her boyfriend with no avail. She heard quiet step behind her but she heard a different call from the other way: "CHERIE!"
She quickly spun around and saw who she was looking for being attacked by a zombie! Actually,he was attacking the zombie! He growled at the undead while it failed it's arms around,try to bite him.
"I'm so hungry!" it screeched before...
CHOMP!
"AHHHH!" He screamed as he pulled his arm from the zombie's mouth "SHIT!" he fell backward as the zombie got up then
VRRRT!
"Hya!" Cherie had sawed the zombie in half with the metal weed-whacker before running to Basil's side
"Are you OK, Cherie?"
"Yes,I-are YOU?"
Grunting with the pain getting worse and worse,"I-uh...one bit me. Just a little bit,I don't know what that means. What does that mean?"
She paled in realization "Oh no! It's can't be!"
"I feel it in me,I'm going to become one,huh?"
She nodded with tears rolling down her cheeks
"I-Damn it! I'm messing up our vacation! I'm sorry,Cherie,I didn't want to screw our only time alone together!"
"The vacation? Don't worry about that! That's the last thing I'm worried about!"
He started panting as the pain got worse "Listen,I-I know this is kinda of a last minute thing b-but I wanted you to know..." he pulled his hand up to grab hers "..I know that it took me a while to tell you this b-but...I -I wanted to-you know...marry you!" he grunted one last time before his head to the ground "I wanted to marry you!"
Cherie's head dropped to his chest as she cried "Basil..."
